Xueliang Liu, Ph.D.

Dr. Xueliang Liu is an Associate Research Scientist at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He earned his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and completed postdoctoral training at the same institute after obtaining his B.S. from Shandong University. His research focuses on targeted delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics and precision immunotherapy. He has published multiple corresponding/first-author papers in journals such as Sci. Adv., Adv. Mater., Adv. Sci., JACS, Angew, Research, and holds three authorized Chinese national invention patents. Dr. Liu has received several honors, including the Shanghai Eastern Scholar (Young Scholar) Award, the Shanghai Pudong New Area Outstanding Health Talent Award, and the Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Fellowship. He currently serves as Principal Investigator on grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Science and Technology Development Fund, among other projects, and contributes as a key member to national initiatives such as the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Key R&D Program in Synthetic Biology.
